Main challenge
This was the stripping and replacement of non-compliant cladding, insulation and sheathing board to an occupied housing block. The location is adjacent to railway lines which limits access. Removal of the sheathing board had to be done in a phased process to maintain weather tightness throughout.
PROJECT GOAL
To achieve cladding that was compliant with the newly introduced Building (Amendment) Regulation 2018 whilst maintaining occupation with the least disruption to residents.
